Rim Hoop Earrings by Austin Titus
Austin Titus's love of fine craft and a reverence for traditional metalsmithing techniques is shown through her work which is influenced by old world textures and details. Her Jewelry finds beauty in the imperfect, tactile nature of an object that has been handmade—raw edges, hammer and file marks—these are the signature of the maker and a timeline of the process.
These earrings are made of oxidized sterling silver with 23k gold that’s been fused into the silver using the Korean technique Keum-boo. Smooth and bright labradorite cabochons have an iridescence of blue and green.
The earrings are a little over 2 inches in length.
This is just one of many pieces on display from Austin Titus at our bricks and mortar space in downtown Culver City. Please visit us on Main Street or call 310-836-4600.
