THE TASTE 

The aromas are complex with layers of fruity, flinty and perfume-like qualities: strawberry crème, raspberry, and peach coupled with blossoms. The wine has crisp acidity and a luscious finish.

PAIR IT WITH 

Lucas & Lewellen Rose’ pairs well with brie and camembert. Grilled chicken, ham and spicy seafood are complementary to the acidity of this rose’.

THE STORY

Megan McGrath has been the winemaker for Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards for 15 years.  Having graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Soil Sciences,  Megan began as winemaker for Cahill Winery in Sonoma, specializing in small lot Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Bordeaux varietals, and Syrah.
