2017 Vision of Peace: To My Love

12" x 12" fine art print printed directly onto wood panel, finished with a UV coating.  Usage rights donated by artist so that ALL proceeds can be used to change lives through Peace Project initiatives.  Panel can be hung on the wall or comes with a small stand to display on a table, desk, etc.

Vision of Peace: Making peace with the absence of an overwhelmingly important part of one's life can be the greatest challenge. Like losing a spouse. There have been no borders to the way it has changed my life: making peace with the present, moving forward, cherishing the past.

I found the Whole 9 community and The Peace Project because my husband, Marcel, was a member (known within the Whole 9 community as "Dangerous Ideas"). For four amazing years we co-created pieces for the Call-To-Artists and it's been a wonderful experience.

In memory of those past collaborations, this work, "To My Love," incorporates an abstract photo, "Lorca's Fields," by Marcel and a watercolor of mine, "Bird on the Wing." The sweeping color blended with the flight of the bird creates a sense of peace.

I have gratitude for the wonderful past we shared as part of the Whole 9 Peace Project journey. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this peaceful journey as well.
