THE TASTE 

This Pinot Noir has good structure with aromas of dried cherries, rose petals and a hint of dark chocolate.  Sultry tannins and naturally bright acidity support flavors of cola, lavender, exotic spice and just a trace of vineyard terroir in a long lasting finish.

PAIR IT WITH 

Lucas & Lewellen Pinot Noir pairs well with turkey, duck, roast chicken, venison, and medium-firm cheeses.

THE STORY

Megan McGrath has been the winemaker for Lucas & Lewellen Vineyards for 15 years.  Megan graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Soil Sciences and began her career as winemaker for Cahill Winery in Sebastopol (Sonoma), specializing in small lot Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Bordeaux varietals, and Syrah.
